Knife Holder

Knife Block Manufacturer & Wholesale Supplier

A knife block is the part of a knife set that people see every day, and it often decides whether a set looks premium on the shelf. YJCookbest makes knife blocks and knife holders for importers, wholesalers, distributors, supermarket and homeware chains, e-commerce brands and private label brands, either sold empty or built into a complete knife set with matching knives.

Our range covers wooden blocks with fixed slots, slot-free universal holders in PP, ABS and acrylic, stainless steel stands, transparent display holders, and magnetic wooden blocks. Sixteen standard models sit in the catalogue today, from a 330 g PP holder to a 1.6 kg 15-slot wooden block, and each can be changed in material, size, slot layout, colour, logo and packaging. Where a project needs a new shape, a rotating base, a built-in sharpener or a double-sided magnetic face, our design team builds it from your drawing, your sample or your knife list.

Slotted blocks hold each knife in a slot cut for it. They look traditional, protect the edge and keep the knife stable. A slot only suits knives close to its size, so the block should be designed with the knives. If you sell the block empty, publish the slot dimensions with it.

Universal blocks replace slots with flexible inserts or wave openings, so they accept blades of different widths and lengths, from a 6" paring knife to a 12" chef knife. The inserts come out for washing, which makes slot-free blocks popular in hygiene-focused ranges and for holders sold empty.

Magnetic blocks hold knives on the surface. Blades stay visible and nothing touches the edge, but the knife must be magnetic (most stainless steels are), and the magnet layout has to match the weight and width of the knives. Double-sided blocks double the capacity on the same footprint.

Rotating holders put the slots on a turntable, so a small countertop can hold more knives within reach.

TY103: 15-Slot Wooden Knife Block

TY103 is a countertop wooden block with 15 angled slots, a non-slip base and a mineral oil finish, and it needs no assembly. The high slot count suits full knife sets with steak knives, scissors and a sharpening steel, and you can sell it with a clear “15-slot” feature. It weighs 1,660 g, so it feels solid on the counter and reads as a premium product in photos. Slot count, wood species, finish and size can be changed.

TY104: Universal PP Knife Holder

TY104 is a slot-free holder in PP with wave-shaped openings, a detachable structure, bottom drainage and an anti-slip base. It takes knives of different widths and lengths, and the detachable inserts can be washed. It has an integrated sharpening slot and ships in an OPP bag at 330 g, which keeps freight low and suits high-volume value ranges. Colour, insert layout, size and logo can be changed.

TY107: Stainless Steel Knife Holder

TY107 is a brushed 430 stainless steel holder with inclined openings for knives and scissors, standing on anti-slip foot pads. It fits stainless steel kitchenware ranges and professional-look sets. We can make it in 304 stainless steel, change the opening sizes, switch the finish or add a logo.

6-Slot Square Knife Holder

The 6-slot holder pairs a wood-grain ABS shell with transparent PS and holds six knives. The wood-grain is a surface finish on ABS, so it gives the warm look of wood without the weight or cost, and the detachable base with bottom drainage makes it easy to clean. It suits value and mid-range block sets.

K002: Magnetic Wooden Knife Block

K002 is a solid wood block in matte black with concealed neodymium magnets. Knives sit on the surface rather than in slots, so every blade is visible and easy to reach. Laser logo and custom packaging are available, and the magnet layout and size can be matched to your knives.

Choosing Between Slotted, Universal and Magnetic

Slotted blocks hold each knife in a slot cut for it. They look traditional, protect the edge and keep the knife stable. The trade-off is that a slot only suits knives close to its size, so the block should be designed with the knives, and if you sell the block empty, publish the slot dimensions with it.

Universal blocks replace slots with flexible inserts or wave openings, so they accept knives of different widths and lengths, from a 6" paring knife to a 12" chef knife. Slot-free blocks are easier to clean because the inserts come out for washing, which makes them popular for hygiene-focused retail ranges and for holders sold empty.

Magnetic blocks hold knives on the surface. Blades stay visible and nothing touches the edge, but the knife must be magnetic (most stainless steels are), and the magnet layout needs to match the knives’ weight and width. Double-sided magnetic blocks double the capacity on the same footprint.

Rotating holders put the slots on a turntable so a countertop with limited space can hold more knives within reach.

A project starts from a drawing, a sample or a list of knives. We confirm the material and structure, send sketches or 3D renderings, make a sample for you to test with your own knives, and move to production once you approve it. The design team that develops our knife sets works on every holder. If you are unsure whether you need OEM or ODM, see our OEM and ODM service for the full process.

Packaging and Shipping Data

Standard packaging is a colour box for TY103, TY107 and the 6-slot holder, and an OPP bag for TY104. We also print gift boxes, blister packs, inner trays and master cartons with your artwork, barcode and shipping marks. Each quotation lists the packed size, net and gross weight and carton quantity, so your forwarder and your listings use the same figures.

Matching Knife Sets

If you need knives and the block together, see our 5 piece, 6 piece, 7 piece and 8 piece knife sets.

Kitchen Knives

Superior Sharpness & Edge Retention

Made from high-carbon steel or advanced powdered steels that stay sharp longer, reducing the need for frequent sharpening.

Ergonomically designed handles and a well-balanced weight distribution between the blade and handle reduce fatigue and improve precision.

Efficiency & Safety

A sharp knife requires less force to use, providing more control and reducing the risk of slippage and injury.

A clean cut from a sharp blade preserves the texture, flavor, and appearance of food (e.g., tomatoes don't get crushed, herbs don't bruise).
